Last weekend there were ass kicking thermals in Tapalpa, more than 8m/s and cloud base around 4500m. When you core one of those bullets, it’s hard not to let out a “yihaaa!” sound. It only takes a few minutes to reach cloud base where to cool air and high altitude makes you feel very exposed. Read more »

Overhauled

After weeks of changing all screws, wires and strange looking bits and pieces, the trike is now completely overhauled and fully operational. We took it for a spin yesterday in the sunset and what a beautiful flight it was! Read more »
Getting high

Chuck was totally relaxed on the take-off and during our flight from Conchas Chinas, he didn’t worry at all. He even managed to take a couple of pictures while enjoying the spectacular view. It wasn’t until we descended towards the landing field (with a fairly soft spiral dive) that he started to let out some “oooh, oooooh, aaaah” sounds. Read more »
Girl power

Yesterday we broke another record, we had 6 women kiting in our school! It was also the strongest day of the season (so far), close to 30 knots and it was great seeing Karen and Paula getting up on their boards. The strong conditions can be a little intimidating, but if you take our beginner class, you will feel much safer.
